Description: 
Chinook is a pretty apple with bright cherry red blush. The fruit is firm and has good flavour with a nice balance of sweet and tart. Flavour improves with storage.  Cream coloured flesh.
 
Uses: 
Fresh, keeps very well.
 
Maturity: 
Mid to Late season, maturing about the first to second week of October
 
Pollination:
Moderately self fertile.
White flowering crabapples are also good pollinisers for this variety.
