'Dabinett'

Description: 

Dabinett was a seedling found in a hedgerow in Somerset, England in the early 1900’s.  Small red fruit striped with yellow and green.  Matures in November.  Can be used alone for a single variety hard cider.

 

Uses:

Hard Cider, Bittersweet

 

Harvest: 

Late, November

 

Pollinators: 

Partially self fertile, Brown Snout, Northern Spy, Stoke Red

 

White flowering crabapples are also good pollinisers for this variety.
