Description: Crisp red apple with extremely white sweet flesh with a hint of tang. Does not bruise easliy. It was developed in 1940 as a cross between 'Delicious' and 'McIntosh'. It has all the attributes of a good apple variety, easy maintenance, strong well-shaped trees, attractive apples, and heavy annual crops.
Uses:
Fresh eating apple but also popular for making cider. Also great for apple sauce.
