This chance seedling discovered in BC and named for the fact it was saved from one of the many forest fires prevalent in the area it was discovered by the propagation and evacuation efforts of its discoverer.
Attractive red striped and speckled skin, white flesh. Medium size.
Uses:
Fresh eating, cooking, cider.
Harvest:
Late August into September
Pollinators:
Kerr, Dolgo, Gorgeous.
White flowering crabapples are also good pollinisers for this variety.
