Jonagold is a cross between Golden Delicious and the Jonathan. It originated in New York State in 1953. Jonagold is large in size and tangy sweet. Jonagold is crimson red flushed with yellow-green undertones. The flesh is a creamy color. A very versitile apple great for Eating fresh, Cider making, dehydrating and Baking.Mid season apple
