Description:
This interesting Mediterranean fruit produces round nut brown fruit approximately 1.5 inches (40m) in diameter. Heavy cropper with good flavour.
Uses:
Jams and paste.
Harvest:
Late: Mid October after the first frost. To ripen (or 'blett') fully place in a cool dry place until the pulp becomes soft. Then it can be eaten (fruit has a spicy flavour) or made into jam, jelly or paste.
