Description:
Ribston pippin is also known as the Glory of York a famous variety raised from a seed in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England, around 1707. A strong-tasting 'aromatic' apple.  The flavour is at its best a month or so after picking.
 
Uses: 
Used for fresh eating, cooking, and for its sweet/sharp juice. Stores well,

Mid-season (usually in late September or early October).
